Description: Mahogany cased fusee wall clock supplied by Stockall Marples & co., for a government contract. Original white painted dial marked with George V crown cipher, protected by a glazed cast brass bezel.
The back box with locking bottom door and pendulum side access door interestingly stamped with the marks S M & co., 1935, and E R V111 for Edward the eighth.
The movement backplate marked with George V crown and date 1935.
The chain fusee movement is of 8 day duration.
